Just a train of thought I had, whilst working out how to simplify things! My trio are fed a small amount of Bailey's grass cobs, to give them a bit of salt and to put something in their stomachs as they are on sparse grazing, and rationed hay (working well, everyone is looking in good condition, lean, but not skinny). If the grass cobs contain as many different species of grasses, herbs and flowers as the say (at least 60 different types), I can stop adding supplementary herbs to their feeds, as they were given for variety whilst the mixture planted in the leys took hold? They aren't in work (couple of times out on in hand walkies/a hack a week isn't work, but they do move around, just for context. Various reasons for retirement. New boy looking like he may join in the retirement, but that's another story
