Ok im thinking ahead to the winter where cold fingers and hard to open tubs are not friends. So I was thinking about keeping my supplements at home and mixing them in the morning in a sandwich bag ready for the yard in the evening. Can anyone think of a reason that certain supplements shouldn't sit together all day?

No advice about premixing, but the plastic tarys with lids you get takeaway food in are brilliant for this sort of thing - have lids, you can stack them, can stir stuff around in them and reusable, but if they do get broken or lost, you don't mind too much.

I have some small pots I bought from the supermarket for this, I mix up a week's worth so that the yard can just tip them in to his feed.

I know that MSM shouldn't be exposed to air for any length of time so should be added to feed just before feeding so I wonder if there are other such 'quirks' for anything you feed that might diminish it's effectiveness. I've no idea how to find out but I guess it would say on the packaging.
