Hi
My horse tends to suffer from wind and a dribbly bottom, I was thinking of introducing something to help this, would you recommend a pre or probiotic and is there one in particular that has possibly helped your horse in the past?
Thank you

I was chatting to a nutritionist the other day about this. If they are in good condition, but just tend to get minor squits or occasionally girthy then a pre-biotic is all you need. If they struggle to put weight on/condition isn't good then you need a pro-biotic. If both then both!!

My lad gets a pre-biotic as whilst he doesn't have ulcers or any current gastric upset, he does go a bit runny sometimes and certainly on the rich grass I saw a behaviour change. He is in really great shape so there is nothing causing a problem absorbing nutrients. Therefore he doesn't need a pro-biotic, just a pre-biotic when he had his runny periods.
