really really pleased, had exactly the lesson i needed.
didnt work on any of the tricks, in fact on did a little bit of shoulder in and half pass in trot, mainly worked on the quality of the basic paces, ring craft and rode the individual parts of N37.
general gist is that i need to ride my butt off and be a bit braver....poll up and forward forward forward 500% in front of me, not letting him curl over the bit and drop behind me in to show pony mode!
worked on little *up* half halts, then releasing the contact and making him power forward to take it up and out and not curl.
in the transitions, particularly trot-canter and canter-trot i need to keep the neck straighter and make him take the contact forward, and not curl and duck to avoid having to do that.
trot-halt i need to ride sharper and not dribble in to it, and suprise suprise when i did that i got gorgeous tucked under square halts.
sis is comming with me to our final dry run this sun, and to the regionals, and she's the only one who can really give me a rollocking, so her mains shouts will be:
1."UP"
2."FORWARD"
3."SHARPER"
