really really pleased, had exactly the lesson i needed.
didnt work on any of the tricks, in fact on did a little bit of shoulder in and half pass in trot, mainly worked on the quality of the basic paces, ring craft and rode the individual parts of N37.
general gist is that i need to ride my butt off and be a bit braver....poll up and forward forward forward 500% in front of me, not letting him curl over the bit and drop behind me in to show pony mode!
worked on little *up* half halts, then releasing the contact and making him power forward to take it up and out and not curl.
in the transitions, particularly trot-canter and canter-trot i need to keep the neck straighter and make him take the contact forward, and not curl and duck to avoid having to do that.
trot-halt i need to ride sharper and not dribble in to it, and suprise suprise when i did that i got gorgeous tucked under square halts.

sis is comming with me to our final dry run this sun, and to the regionals, and she's the only one who can really give me a rollocking, so her mains shouts will be:
1."UP"
2."FORWARD"
3."SHARPER"
!!!!!!!!!!! so ill be easily identifiable at keysoe as the one with the super skinny, super angry *trainer*!!!!

steeeeeeeeeetchy warm up:

E43 and E53 her we come on sun!!!

Well, I can only say that I am shocked and disappointed in these pictures ...

...It looks, to me, as if your sweater doesn't match your saddle cloth and, shockingly, your saddlecloth doesn't match your bandages!!! *shakes head sadly* at this disgusting drop in matchy, matchy standards.

:D:D:D:p

On the other hand, CS looks as gorgeous as ever and I'm sure you will be amazing at regionals. :)

On another note, have you used scissors on that mane??:D

lol! its is absolutely never going to happen that i buy another hat, to be barely ever used! so im afraid those unable to cope with the navy hat, will have to have councelling!!!

can quite assure you the pad and bandages are exactly the same colour! i can only apologise for the jumper oversight lol!!!!(but it does tone???brown and tan????)

'fraid all my manes are scissored! both bru and CS detest having it pulled and a nice thick mane gives bigger fatter plaits so scissors it is.....you can take the girl out of SJ, but not the SJ'er out of the girl!!!

Gorgeous pics! Lots of luck for the regionals. I have mine on the sunday at keysoe... and all also going for a lesson to have a 'thrashing' the day before haha

Haha have to admit I cut my manes too! makes them so much nicer to plait up lol.
Horse is stunning :) I only hope mine ends up that nice. Good luck at regionals!!

stunning as usual. don't worry, i had faith that your saddle pad and bandages matched... ;):D
good luck at the regionals! :D

He is looking lovely as usual! I'm glad to hear the saddle pad and bandages match, I thought you were just going for a shades of brown theme...
At least you cut your mane before you plait! We plait beau then cut off the un-plaitable ends! Works OK if your plaits are straight otherwise he has a bit of a staircase for a while :o :)

Good luck at Regionals I'm sure Super-pony will kick-arse!!

looking really good, particularly the lovely tone-on-tone colour co-ordination.
i was in local sadderly yesterday buying the lovely Banana Anky Technical Pad and matching fleecy bandages for a certain HHOer who was trying to track them down, and they made me think of you and your legendary colour-coordinatedness!
btw, if anyone's looking for the gorgeous pinky-violet set, they still have that...
good luck at the Regionals on your very UP and FORWARD boy, can't wait to hear how you get on.

Good luck at the regionals, I think you always look great. :D

Ermm.. all you 'matching watchers' PS's breeches match CS's bandages, so not totally out of character :) ;)

Looking very smart :) My pre regional lessons have been all about the basics again!!! Funny how good a 'proper' square halt can feel ;) .....alien to me!!!

Are you going to Keysoe? I'm there on Sunday for the Ele classes.....very nervous about it all!!!

lovely pictures those bandages are lush :D
good luck for regionals you really wouldnt know CS was a TB! :) he is a real credit to your hard work :)

thank you guys, i hope we dont let you all down!

square halts have never been our forte, we can stop and stand(wonkily) but if i try to correct it was get piaffe and jiggling around on the spot.have the trot up and super forward def made it easier to acheive the square halt straight off so perhaps iv been guilty of letting him dawdle in to it!
