What do you use for keeping your horse clean the night before a show?

I have used a lycra neckpiece before but went to put it on this year and its way too small for him, it wasnt the best design and did ride up a bit anyway. And then I have a Rambo sweet itch rug which I use for keeping him clean and cool aswell its a warm night!

I really want to get a Rambo Dustbuster rug - anyone use them or how do you find them fit wise?

I'm not a big fan of the full body lycra onesies but are they worth it? He wont tolerate anything over his ears but then I've heard some horror stories of the eye holes slipping on some on them and going into their eye!

Any other suggestions or things to look out for? In fairness he is black/brown anyway so tends not to get too dirty but I like keeping him as dust free/hassle free as possible!

The snuggy hood ones are best they don't move as long as they are the right fit the lycra hoods don't have ear covers, you can often pick them up on EBay or when snuggy have a sale they are quite a bit cheaper, we used the lycra hoods with the fleece body rugs and the fleece leg wraps in the stable, I am sure any sort of leg wraps would be just as good though and a fleece rug would do the job.
