Prednisolone tablets 5mg

I read on an old post that Prednisolone tablets cost £70 for 100. Does anyone know if this is true - my girl has just been put on 90 a day. Eeeek!!!

1000 tablets for £41 on prescription, so no need to panic too much, if your vet charges much more it would be worth paying for a prescription if treatment is long term. Sorry wrong link this should be right, £30 for 500

How long is the prescription for? Could you ask your vet for Equisolone, it would cost approx £110 for 14 days @ 450mg per day (13g of 33mg/g per day)

Thankyou thats encouraging - especially the first post, but also thanks to the second ..... I have 2 tubs of 2000 tablets each so I reckon about £160 - £200. Just about manageable as long as it doesnt turn out to be long term at that dosage. Thanks tons xxx
