Can anyone fill me in on the symptoms of pregnancy diabetes?
My 19 year old TB x mare, we thought, had Cushings diagnosed in her 2nd trimester. She was the put on Pergolide which lessened the Cushings signs. However, she lost the foal 10 days before she was due and now appears to have lost all of the Cushings symptoms (she's lost the fat above her eyes and along her crest; she has moulted out all of her coat which was properly curly, she is putting weight and condition on now), eventhough she has not been on the Pergolide for 6 weeks now.
Any thoughts please?
