pregnant by Totilas ?

There was a post the other day that suggests only one mare in this country has been approved for Totilas.

Whether she is in foal or not, I don't know.
 
Yes, but only for nominated mares, and at a cost of c. 5,000 euros. The only mare in the UK who's been approved is one of Nicola McGivern's.

definately more than one as one of my clients mares has been approved ,well actually i think she is due pregnancy scan this week.
She has gone there to be AI'd though as they wouldnt release semen to England till June
 
My friends who is using him said her letter stated that there was 10 mares using him, all have to be inseminated at twemlows, she is waiting for her blood results to come back then she is taking the mare down.
Did here from someone else there was 12 accepted, i cant imagine that many more actually applied for him from the UK its very risky and expensive when his semen isnt proven yet,
i know i couldnt afford to risk it, 5500 euros stud fee, 25 % money back if not in foal or use Moorlands Bodygaurd.

I know someone with a mare out there for insemmination by him, and i am sure someone told me of another that has gone out too! As for 'in foal' i dont know! Not much help sorry!
 
No, definitely more than one, very good friend of mine is sending his mare to stud to be inseminated by Totilas on Tuesday.....so fingers crossed she takes!
 
Hi there, have found out that his very fertile, first mare inseminated by him for ET flushed 4 embryos, lucky owner! Pitty I'm not brave enough for that.
 
Thank you all for all your good wishes! We are over the moon! Mrs Rouse (the mare) has so far had 7 colts and no fillies so we are hoping she keeps this up once more!
 
Totilas was made available for the first time this year to just 100 mares worldwide by frozen semen for €5,500. Only 12 out of the 100 mares selected were British-based. congrats Queensorchard :)
