Hi All

I am intrigued to know if this is true, my friends pony is in foal and her friend told her to NEVER walk the pony backwards as it can cause the foal to twist and get stuck.

Is this true?? I have never heard of it before and have googled it but nothing comes up, just wanted to know if anyone else has heard of it?

Thanks

Brilliant! A local dealer told me that colts didn't like having their back legs touched. Perhaps that's because you have never been able to get near enough to them?? Hahahaaaaa... :D

Well going by mine, who backed up to do every gate we came across while she was pregnant, then plopped the foal out with no probs....I think its a load of rubbish!

It is a load of rubbish, I spoke to a vet yesterday and she said it is an old wives tale and there is no truth in it :-) Cant wait to tell him hahahaha
