Just wondering how people find this test, a couple of events coming up near me are using it and I just wondered if people find it one of the easier or hard ones, if it rides nice etc before I enter!!

Nice easy test to remember, flows on well, prob hardest bit would be the change rein in canter where u have to go back to trot just b4 marker, i nearly always do this test first! good luck.

I'm doing this on Saturday (not a million miles away from Doncaster) so will let you know. Having just looked through my old tests, it appears as if I've done it 4 times before but I dont' really remember doing the tests

(call it old age and nearly 2 years since we've done any comps

Defo a good one to start with - becomes ingrained in yr brain easily x good luck

Nice test to remember but can somtimes be tricky to ask a prelim horse to canter across the diagonal and then trot at k, so maybe practice a little bit of counter canter and trot at A if you can manage it, but dont practice trotting at K as they can start to guess that thats where they trot and then start to break early!

Yep, I think that canter and then trot at K is quite awkward. And yes, the horse does anticipate and tend to trot early.
