hi

i do have the test at home but not with me, just wondered if it was fairly straightforward?

doing it on the bon monster this sunday - we've only every done BE dressage tests together - this is a first BD test.

Also - I am assuming I can use a whip in the arena and have it called ? Haven't tried her with a stick yet - my brave that one tonight so see if I survive LOL!!!

thanks
Bx

Prelim 12 is a nice test and if you've been doing BE tests, you'l not find much difference.
Yes you are fine to carry a whip and have it called.
Have Fun

You can use a whip and a caller for BD.

Prelim 12 is a nice test imho. You start with twenty metre circles in trot at C and A; walk two half 10m circles between B and E, and free walk back to E (I think...maybe it is the other way round??), then canter with 20m circles in the middle of the school. Quite straightforward, rides well I think.
Good luck!

Not a great test for my horse but it is fairly easy to remember and i quite like the use of walk within it. You do have to canter across the diagonal, trot after X then canter again in the following corner but if you're doing BE tests already, you should be fine
Good luck
