Not got my test book with me - is this in a long or a short arena... I've been asked to take a friend's youngster to a dressige but he's such a gangly beast I'll never get him round a short arena... I think it's 'long' but not sure...

Def short arena I'm afraid. The only long arena Prelims are 15 and 19.

It's a short arena test. You still need to get around a 20 metre circle even in a long arena so never understand why people say this?

20 m circle no problem... but across a diagonal in canter after a 20 m circle - not so pretty atm.. you just get more time between movements in a 20 60 - its easier to rebalance a big gangly 4 year old..
