Does anyone know if this is a fairly straight forward test? No weird moves? Suitable for a green horse wanting a basic dressage test? Am thinking of entering it at a comp soon, will get the test sent to me after entering though so would like a rough idea of what's on it before commiting myself! Please don't tell me to go on the site where you can buy individual tests as I am too tight to do this! Even if it does only cost 99p. I will probably enter it anyway and hope for the best but if anyone can offer any insight that would be appreciated

Most of it is fairly straighforward. There a are two "Transition to walk 2-5 steps and proceed in working trot", and one "give and retake reins" in trot on a circle. The rest is as you would expect, 20m circles in trot and canter, free walk across the diagonal, change rein across diagonals in working trot. (Prelim 14 2006)

But what may seem awkward to me may not be for you and vice versa

i would suggest if you are really green start with lower prelim number ei 1,4 or 7 theses are the most simplest test. But if confident with G&R and have smooth trot to walk transition for 3steps and then back to trot, go for it
