Hi Everyone,

Just browsing as I need to get a lightweight turnout for my mare and came across this so thought I would post it to see if anyone is interested but Premier Equine have a 20% sale on for today only. It finishes at 8am tomorrow

http://www.premierequine.co.uk/acatalog/Turnout-Rugs-Lightweight.html

I have just taken advantage of the offer and ordered a lightweight no fill turnout. Cant wait for it to arrive to see if it fits as my mare has very wide shoulders.

Excited muchly!

Thank you for this!

I am interested in the no fill turn out rugs but I don't know Buster rugs; are they hard wearing? I have a serial rug destroyer (or his field mate is one) and a rug can be shredded in less than a week (this will be beyond repair shredded!). I try to buy rugs above 1500 d in an effort to make them last a season but notice that Buster Zero Turnout rug is only 1000d however this is a higher dennier than most rugs of this type. Is it worth trying?

I would make him go naked but he is a skinny and sensitive WB who only goes out at night during the summer because of the severe sunburn he gets on his nose. Fly mask do work to prevent the sunburn but again have a life expectancy of a week! They are either shredded or lost.

I have been told by several people at my yard and also on here that Premier Equine rugs are supposed to be really good/ hard wearing and better for horses with wider shoulders like my mare. Shes a Shire X Cob. The shoulder darts go higher up so is supposed to be a better fit.I was told to order the Buster one for my mare as it is a better fit ( for my mare) then then Bustino ones.

Mine doesnt generally wear rugs as she doesnt need to but in weather like yesterday and today constant non stop rain and just to keep her clean and dry before a show I put a no fill rain sheet on. She gets too hot if I put her in anything else.

Im really excited as never thought I would be able to afford a PE one and was looking at them yesterday but refused to pay over £70 for a no fill rainsheet! When I recieved the email this morning saying it was on offer and had 20% off I knew I just had to get it lol.

Hope that is of some help to you.
