Hi - does anyone have a set of these and can advise on sizing?

I am on a budget (as usual!! :D) and want to get 2 pairs (front and hind) of their sale ones. They only have large and small available.

On the non sale page large is 16.3hh-17.3hh, small is 14-14.3hh for both front and hind. My warmblood is 16.1 so small is def to small and I think the large is going to be too big!

However, can anyone suggest how they have found the sizing for these (i.e. fairly accurate, a bit on the big/small side etc?)? Wondering given mine's a warmblood whether he'll be able to get away with large?!! Plus he seems to find his current clarendon boots (that he came with, so unsure of sizing but prob medium) a bit tight/uncomfy!

Or am I just clutching at straws!!!?? :p

Thanks v much!

I got some of the Aircooled BL ones for my TB, luckily they had medium left when I ordered.

He is 16:2 and although being a chunkier stamp of tb he is still a tb.

In front I needed medium as he has very short cannon bones but I got away with large behind. I often have to do this combination of boots so I'd say they came up average size.

For a warmblood I don't think the large would be too big around his cannon bone but it's the length you will have to watch.

I have the standard ones in a Medium for my little 15HH and a tiny bit mare if that's any help, she is normally a medium in all other boots too and a small in travel boots.

My 16.1hh wb filly who looks very tb, with little bone is fine in a large front and back. I wouldn't want them any smaller!

Great Minds!! haha! They are a bargain, I ordered mine on tues and they arrived thurs. My WB is 16hh and I ordered the small. But they will not fit, he has too much bone and a rather large splint!
I suggest you try the large if your horse has longer cannons! (they do come up large!) But mine is shorter and chunky. Hopefully the smalls will fit my racer when he arrives!
But they are really good boots so it may be worth splashing out on the newer model at medium size. They are still good value for money compared to other event boots!

I have the small hinds on my 14.2 welsh , the fronts would be too long, he is pretty chunky, his other back boots are mediums and his fetlock boots are a large! and they just fit his back legs.

Thanks so much everyone!! I have ordered large front and back. But I also contacted PE and they said it does depend on the horse, but even though they are sale if they don't fit I can send them back which is awesome! God I love PE!!!! Anyway new boots now on way **excited squeals** if they don't fit I think I will still swap for the non-sale as they are so fab!!!
