Does anyone use these?

I currently use the Le Mieux Merino Wool SaddlePads but these are so hard to find now and I could do with a spare! I need to ensure the wool is breathable so thinking of Premier Equine as they seem to do them as I assume for the price, they are breathable?

I prefer Premier Equine to LeMieux in all honesty. The wool feels better and I like the collar. I've never had a problem with their breathability.

I have both, I think there is more wool on the lemieux. The pe one I have is the old type and is a jumping version, it doesn't have the wool at the back of the saddle, I'm unsure about this anyway unless you can see how the saddle will sit before you buy it. At Christmas I was given a nuumed, there's a good choice of colours but the wool is normal wool not merino, it claims to be fully breathable on the website.

Yep, based on my saddlers recommendation I only use the wool PE ones. I asked him about the LM version and he said he'd advise we stick with PE so would think you'd be fine 🤷🏻‍♀️ though obvz always the risk that a different saddle pad makes the saddle fit differently!

All wool and sheepskin is breathable. I would recommend Mattes above these brands, more expensive but better made and the sheepskin is beautiful quality. You also custom build your own pad with a vast range of colour options, any stock that shops have is usually custom ordered anyway. You won't be able to order directly online but there are various outlets.
