Premier Equine fleece rug doesn't fit AWWWWWHHH!

I posted about getting a Premier Equine fleece rug a little while ago, some of you posted back to say they are great so I ordered a lovely black one. It came about a week ago AND IT DOESN'T FIT!

I tried it on GG today and no way will it fit round his neck, it doesn't have any adjustment on the front and it's too short on the back. I ordered a 6'3" he has 6'3" rugs at the moment. I don't think a 6'6" would fit either it may be longer in the back but not round the neck. I haven't had any problems with rug fit before, he is a cob, but not a wide tank of a cob, I have Weatherbeeta, Masta, Mark Todd, GFS and even Tesco rugs and all fit perfectly!

I am so annoyed though as it's actually a very good quality rug and looks really smart. Someone at the yard may buy it off me, she has a skinny TB type will see later when she brings him in.

I will put this in stable yard too as there was mention of these rugs on both forums. Just cheesed off really you don't need to respond!!
 
Just annoyed as it's such a lovely rug!!! Maybe I can shave a bit of muscle off his neck and shoulders... then all the other rugs won't fit!!!

I posted this very thing on a post about these the other day. They are now coming up small and no longer have any adjustment on the front.
 
Ive always found them to be very generous around the front in fact they are one of the only rug makes that will stretch round my ID!

Phone PE and let them know whats happened Im sure they will be happy to sort out something more suitable.
 
Ahhhhh great then he's not deformed!!! I thought I had read this but it was after I had ordered mine. If it had an adjustable front then it would prob be OK. Obviously they have changed the design?

They refused to replace the 3 rugs that were bought from Olympia by people at the yard

UPDATE!

It doesn't fit the TB either and he is really narrow and has a tiny neck. Phoned PE and they said to send it back, I said it may be faulty or just not cut right. Owner of the little TB horse had same problem the rug is OK in length and depth. She measured it up against another rug and the neck came out 6" shorter/narrower than her other standard rug. There's no way of adjusting the neck/chest straps so you are a bit stuck really.
 
I had exactly the same problem! After getting 'caught out' with the sizing on Thematex rugs I bought my boy a 6'6 - no way on earth was that rug a 6'6! Sold it to a mate and ordered a 6'9 - super fit - and he's a WB. The extra 3" made all the difference.

Tried on my/Brookes new Premier rug and it fits perfectly. It is so lovely and warm and looks fabby. I nearly left it on her but she is stabled and I would come up in the morning to roasted gee gee for brekkie.
