I've had a few Premier Equine rugs over the years for a range of horses and when buying their turnouts I always order a size down as they come up so big. I've only ever had one fly rug from them, a 5'3 from the pony range as the 5'6 swamped said pony and it was so small it was unusable. I now have a new horse and am looking for a fly rug and like the look of the Air Mesh with no neck. New pony is a sport horse build but with a decent chest, she's 5'9 in most rugs, but is in a 5'6 PE turnout.
Any PE fly rug users that can tell me whether to go for the 5'9 fly rug or stick with 5'6?
