Alfie horse lives out. The only time I’ve ever had a horse out all the time I had a Rhino 100g wug that I chucked over the top of whatever he was wearing overnight and pulled off in the morning.
They are in a surfaced pen during the day so it doesn’t get filthy inside.
I’ve been looking at the PE Buster. It’s about £130 (not direct from PE) whereas the Rhino is £200 so a lot cheaper.
I’ve got lots of PE stuff but wasn’t a turnout fan as I bought two years ago that faded badly and didn’t stay waterproof past the second year.
Are they better now?
Would I still size down with the wig type?
Or any 100g alternatives to look at?

I have the entire rugs series for both of mine from sheet to 450g 🤣 dread to think how much I’ve spent! I wholeheartedly say I have never had an issue with waterproofness apart from on one sheet which was 600d and wouldn’t withstand torrential rain, which was probably my own fault as no 600d would. They are much lighter than they used to be and I wouldn’t buy any other rugs now! I’ve never had the high neck type, so can’t comment on the fit of those, but still size down on the rest.

Thanks! I’m horseware all the way but a £70 difference is huge!
I’m too lazy for PE in general 😂 I have stable rugs but all that double lock Velcro takes so long!
Obviously the high neck doesn’t have that!
