How are they size/fit wise does anyone know?
I have a bad foot and wellies are hurting for long periods of time so I’d like some leather yard boots. They are currently on offer.
I vaguely remember buying some riding boots once and thinking they were a really odd shape.
I’m thinking small foot to ankle ratio or the opposite but it was years ago and I generally don’t remember!
I don’t have weirdly big feet or ankles!
Eg. My ariat short boots are perfect but I don’t want to wreck them mucking out and all.

Not good in my experience- I’ve chanced it a couple of times when they have been very reduced, but quality has been poor and not comfortable to wear.

PE? I found the ankle part too small so they are quite hard to get on (I dont have cankles either )

I bought a pair quite a few years ago but barely wore them. I didn’t find them very comfy.
I’ve also got a pair of short boots which I don’t like too much either. I keep them in the car for emergencies.

If you’re happy with your Ariat ones, it might be worth a look on Vinted to see if you can pick an unworn or barely worn pair for a bargain price, and then you perhaps wouldn’t feel so worried about wrecking them.

They are very very comfortable and waterproof! They are tight at the ankle so fiddly to put on but once on they are great just seen they are half price too!

I love them. Fit is good, they are comfortable and waterproof. Only niggle is that the zips are starting to fail so I might just take this sale opportunity to buy the non zip ones.

I hope you like them! They are a snug fit at the ankle but they do stretch. I walked 5 miles in them today while my daughter was hacking in the rain and my feet were perfect x

How wide/not wide and deep/not deep would you say they are across the ball of the foot?
