premier equine rug sizing

Just looking at getting either a buster or a storm buster. He has a 7' combo weatherbeeta Landa which fits perfect. But bought a Rambo stable rug recently in 7' and it is a touch to big. (Still wears it mind!!!) Yet His amigo 6'9 was too small! Should I get a 7' PE???

Hello. Love my PE rug. They are slightly generous I would say. My boy is a 6'6 in most so that's what I ordered. Slighty big but fine.

I had this exact same problem sizing my two up. They both take a size larger in the horsewear rugs as i find they come up just too small. I borrowed their normal sized rugs in premier equine to try and make sure i ordered them the right size and found the following:

Horse 1 is normally a 6ft in Fal, weatherbeeta but 6ft3 in horsewear/amigo
Horse 2 is normally 5ft9 in Fal and shares the 6ft weather beeta and is 6ft in horsewear

I tried a 5ft9 on horse 2 and it was a little long but a decent size. I tried a 6ft on horse 1 and it was really quite big but the 5ft9 was too small. I'd heard their rugs were generous from researching on here.
In the end I ordered the 5ft 9 for horse 2 and when it arrived it was actually JUST fitting him and no more as it was smaller than the 5ft9 i'd borrowed to try on him. I was very surprised. I've got a 6ft on order for horse one that should arrive tomorrow or Wednesday.
