Premier Equine Rugs – Any Good ?

Another huge fan of PE rugs here, cannot recommend them highly enough - great fit on my coblet - lovely and deep and I like the fit over the withers and rump.

Quality is second to none - MUCH better than my Masta rugs and Amigos, the guy who cleans all my rugs really rates them too.

As and when I can afford it I will definitely be replacing all my current rugs with PE ones :D

I have a lovely set for sale -currently on Ebay for £70 starting price.... Stable Rug - 100g outer plus 100g inner and 200g inner. I bought second hand but bought too small a size - I got 6' and needed 6'3. (I was told they came up big sizing but apparently they don't!). anyone interested PM me?

I think it depends on when you bought them. I bought a number of them several years ago (old fabric) and they are good - very waterproof and tough wearing. However the newer ones seem to be made from different material?

When I bought mine, they only had a very basic range - it was just the buster and it came in blue and in 3 weights - 70gm, 300 and 450gm. I also bought the first trio when it came out - again the material seems different from the new ones.

I find the fit of the old style rugs very generous as whereas they fitted my chunkier 15hh well, they drown my little 15.2hh TB so I am selling all of mine now and getting horseware which fit him so much better.
