so looking to buy a rug for new boy this winter and looked at the premier equine one that has the liners and wondered if anyone had tried them and how the sizing came up?

my boy is in a 6ft3 rhino at the moment but its too small, a wee bit of his bum hangs out! i had a duo for my mare but it fell to bits apparently this was not uncommon. had also looked at the rambo optimo but all the reviews seem rubbish? any thoughts?

thanks for thoughts :)

I find Rhino come up small 6 ft 6 in premier equine is the same as my 6ft 9 Amigo. Thay are generous but lovely and deep for winter and neck comes to ears and is elasticated so no draughts. I have just ordered 6ft 3 premier equine for new horse that I bought new medium weight rambo in 6ft6.

I had the Premier Equine Trio for my mare, not massively impressed by the quality and when she outgrew it (6'3) I changed to Weatherbeeta (6'6) which is much better quality, cheaper (!) and still got the liners. A few others on the yard have PE too and after a season or so the clips start breaking and the stitching on the velcro starts to go.
