anyone got these? I am looking to get the StormBuster 450g for my boy, is it really waterproof and does it breathe so they don't sweat in it? what's the fit like as my boy is quite wide so needs a deep rug. The horseware rugs fits him perfectly but masta are too short so do they fit like horseware? I am particularly interested in it due to the thickness and hoping it is quite light in weight as I find my weatherbeeta taka is a bit heavy. thanks!

A good generous deep fit and very cosy warm.

I have one for my retired cob and he is totaly insulated in it! It actually doesnt get that much use as the winters havent really been bad enough for him to wear it for more than a few days at a time. Its held out well under a battering of snow, hail and torrential rain.

I use Horseware Amigo rugs on both my lads and the PE rugs (indoor and outdoor) are an equally good cut for the bigger built horse.

I agree with spaniel. they are great! my big warmblood is never too hot or cold, and it breaths and insulates fantastically (i have been known to use it when he has sweated up.....thrown it over when i went to grab a cooler, came back to a dry and warm chap)

I became a total convert last year when struggling to find rugs deep enough and warm enough for Thumper.

I have a HW stable rug, MW TO rug and a lightweight TO rug.

I am (amongst others) their biggest fan.

And as another poster said yesterday, their customer service is also excellent.

Their rugs are well made & reasonably priced, specially when they have a sale

They are generously sized & very often you can order a size smaller than your normal size & it will fit well.

I invested in their Trio Rug only a few weeks back and WOW i'm so glad H&Honline members recommended these rugs it is fantastic and tbh i think better than the horseware rugs

Do the sizes come up the same as Horseware? My boy just fits in a 5ft 9 rambo and amigo but a 5ft 9 fal is a little too roomy. will a 5ft 9 premier equine be ok do you think? thanks

Best rugs ever!
I went a bit OTT after I discovered them and have the full range of turnouts (every weight), fleeces and coolers.
I haven't tried their stable rugs as can't quite justify it- or the new Trio as I already have the Rambo Duo.

Can't go wrong with them in my opinion. They are lovely and deep, totally waterproof and do exactly what they say on the tin!!

I have just ordered this same rug and size today!

I usually have Amigos but wanted something with integrated neck and warmer for my boy who now lives out 24/7. I have heard so many good things on here about PE I just had to go for it.

Hope we are both happy with it
