Are they any good, and if so are the sizes standard (or do they come up big/small)? I normally buy Horseware but they are so pigging expensive, and I don't like the Amigo's as they're not breathable. I also want rugs with clip front fastenings, rather than buckles, and the PE ones have that.
Thanks in advance for your input!

I like they. Resonably priced, and fit my cob well too.

Shires rugs are also good buy IMO! However, best I found were Mark Todd, they fitted my boy like a glove but they are too expensive now :(

They are nice rugs and the Trio is well worth it. Sizing is about right. Are your sure that Amigos arent breathable? I would have thought that most modern turnout rugs are otherwise we would have very sweaty horses!

I have the trio and I love it - I only need this rug which will do all the way through the winter with the different liners - I also just leave it on all the time rather than changing to a stable rug. the neck doesn't seem to rub my horses mane either. I like that they are really long and cover the top part of the legs as well

Thanks for the replies, I will definitely investigate the Premier rugs further!

Mine all live out 24/7 so I quite often have to put rugs on wet horses. I've used the Rambos and Rhinos for years and never had any problems - they're always dry underneath them in an hour or so. I got a lightweight Amigo last year and the horse just doesn't dry underneath it. I assumed it was because the rug wasn't breathable - there's got to be something different about it for them to sell it that cheaply and I assumed that was the difference?

Lovely rugs, bought the PE trio last winter and the PE fly rug this summer. Brill for fairly wide chested horses, excellent high denier and much more reasonable than Fal pro which are also good for wider horses. Rambo didn't fit mine properly, so can't comment.

Yep, agree PE rugs fit mine well and are v good value. Also found they arrived within 2 days. Thumbs up from me!

Another thumbs up for PE rugs, all my girls have them from a wide chested Welsh D x TB to a narrow chested TB, fit them great and they are true to size.........

I think, for the price, they are a good value rug. I very much dislike their lightweights, seem to leak like sieves. Personally I don't find PE comparable to Rambo for long term toughness, or general fit on my sporthorse types and where possible will still prefer to shell out on Rambo's. But then I am a huge Rambo fan and very loyal to the brand.
