Are they any good??

Just thinking of purchasing some to replace my Equilibrium Training Wraps as they fell to bits.

My fault as didnt realise they wernt machine washable. But anyway dont have enough cash to buy another pair & want slightly more protection. So are the PE Kevlar sports boots ok??

Yep, they're great, the normal sports boots are fab too. (And they can go in the machine

I found the normal boots to be quite similar to my Equilibrium flatwork boots and use those for messing around in the school and the equilibrium ones for serious work.

I have washed my equilibrium wraps loads and loads and they still look great asnd i wash then at 60 degrees.

I have the plain sports boots and i used then last winter after my horses fetlock injury and i use them for hacking and they seem good.

Im also been been looking at the kevlar sports boots as they have a double layer around the fetlock- its a toss up between those and the professional choice sports medicine boots but i have heard they get very hot leg in the later so this is putting me off ).

If you get them let me know what they are like!

I have them and they're great. They stand up to being washed well, the velcro is still nice and sticky, and plenty of life in them after 18 months of use.

Bit late to this, but wanted to add that I have been very impressed with the PE Kevlar Sports Boots. My mare has them on all day in the field at present (recovering from tendon injury and doesn't seem to know it so hoolies all the time!).

They fit brilliantly, are nice quality and most importantly for me, she doesn't sweat under them or get rubs and her tendons are barely warm even when wearing them all day on hot sunny days!

Couldn't ask for anything more and I intend to use them when she starts work again and get some more.
