I have been considering some stable boots or wraps for a while and now premier equine have their black friday sale on it seems a good time to buy them but I can't decide which ones.

I want them primarily for use after hunting to help dry off and warm up after washing off. Any support/therapy is an added bonus, I am not looking to treat an injury or condition and they won't be used everyday.

I like the interchangeable liners in the boots, seems practical from a cleaning point of view and means that if I wanted magnetic or infrared in future I would only need the liners. They also look as though they cover a bit more of the leg but do they dry the legs?

The quick dry ones should be good for drying off but that is it. Also they don't come right down to the coronet.

So any experiences or recommendations? Either likely to fit better on fine legs?

I’ve got a set with two sets of ordinary liners and one set of magnetic liners. I really like them. I first used them after he had an annular ligament op after the bandaging period. I’ve since used them mainly in the winter to prevent puffy legs and keep warm. I recently added the magnetic liners to see if that would help his creaky 22yr old self.

I have used them on damp, legs with no problem. I found the medium hinds only just fit his legs. The bottom of the liners can get a bit manky from manure/ wee. I’ve washed mine in the washing machine which I don’t think they’re supposed to be and they’re a bit lumpy now but still ok to use. Would probably put in a delicate or hand wash in future.
