premier equine stormbuster - anyone elses got a huge neck???

I've got a premier equine stormbuster rug with integrated neck and the neck is huge at the top. I mean huge, it covers my boys face! It also gapes massively. Now my boy is by no means small, he's a chunky welsh. It;s like it needed a 3rd strap on it nearer the top to hold it closed. In the picture it looked like it had elastic which went round the top of the neck behind the ears but mine is very loose and goes over my boys ears and around his face. I am having to fold it back but it's still very loose and if the wind blows or he rolls it will prob fall back quite far and expose his neck :-(

Give them a buzz - the rug shouldn't be doing that.

Doesn't sound right - phone them and send them a pic - I think you'll get a replacement rug

difficult to tell if it;s just that my boy has a short neck as in the photo of the rug on their website, the horse is stretching:

in this photo you can see the fastenings, there are 2 but they are quite low down:

He's been wearing it so cannot really return it.
