Premier Equine Trio rug.

I bought one in January for new horse who had no rugs. Couple of things annoyed me at first, but actually it has been a pretty good rug. Fits my WBX well - he had a huge sore on his withers when I got him and was underweight. Sore healed well as edge of rug didn't rub it further (wasn't anywhere near it), and his weight grew and he was always toasty warm in it. He was blanket clipped and I used the 200g neck cover, but never the 100g as by then it was warm enough to go without neck cover completely. Velcro is fiercely sticky which is good, but a pain when you're trying to swap liners in a hurry.

I bought this in a rush as he needed rugs but then discovered it was reduced by almost £50 a week later in the sale, so was absolutely livid, hence why I think I started discovering annoying things about it! I didn't like that it has no leg straps, only a thick filet strap, although I have to say it has never moved.

I have been debating whether to buy another one for new mare who is a different size, and also has no rugs yet!, but notice it has gone up (I think I paid £160 for it, and it's now over £200!). They had a show offer on at Olympia last year so might wait til then, or they might be a Burghley this weekend if you're going there?
