After my mares lovely injury cutting her leg after kicking out at the post and rail fencing in our field, I'm looking at getting some turnout boots for her, to try and protect her legs a bit more, and save having a long stint off work like we're having now.
She'll have them on for half a day as I'm planning on turning her out overnight and bringing in during the day in summer, then the opposite in winter.

I used to have some PE sports boots in a medium but felt they were just a bit too big on her.
She's a 15hh Welsh PBA, but has very slim legs! She wears Woof Wear brush boots for schooling and they are a small for front and hind!

The PE website says small are for 13.3-14.3, so I'm hoping they'll be the right size for her and not too tight!

Does anyone have any sizing help or used these boots before to tell me what the sizing is like?

Thanks! :)

The small fit my Welsh 15. 1 mare best. I also had a medium pair but these moved so changed to small all round

Thank you! Looks like I'll definitely be buying them in a small :)
She's got such skinny legs, she has to wear small in all boots, even over reach bless her!

They do come up quite big. I have a set of Large which I bought for my previous horse (17.2hh ISH) and they fit him perfectly. Got my new horse (15.3hh IDx, quite chunky 8.5 inches of bone) and the Large are a bit too big and slightly too long. Not big enough that I won't continue to use them :P he has a Medium in the quick dry leg wraps and they fit perfectly.

Best plan to stick with small!
