Prepare for a long read. Online bespoke bridle company!

My bespoke bridle with plain flat reins, made to my exact (huge) measurements was £90. Reins were standard size, I bought extra long ones for daily use, and keep these ones for the curb rein of his double bridle. Excellent quality and still happily in good condition after 2 years of regular use and poor care.
Fylde saddlery.

God only knows how you managed that, Fylde's off the peg snaffle bridles are £135 now, and they don't always include reins at all.

Send it back and speak to English Bridles. They do beautiful, high quality bridles in mix and match sizes for not much more than you paid for that. Not sure they do hackamores but worth asking.

Agree with lots of the comments here on the fact that just mixing sizes doesn't then deserve the tag of being bespoke. If it was a case of that then surely they can take it back?
Nothing more frustrating though than a company not being helpful! In contrast I bought a beautiful bridle for my old mare who sadly never got to wear it but it was far too big for the new horse I bought. Despite having had it for at least 6 months they kindly changed out parts of it so it would fit - now that's amazing customer service!!

Wow that really is Customer Service. Incidentally, I had a made to measure bridle made back in 2009 and the Saddler came out and measured the horses head and took down all details. It cost £170.

I bought it piece by piece, individual measurements for each (it was 2 years ago and I drove over to pick it all up so no delivery charge). I didn't realise at the time.

I should add, it wasn't quick. I think it was 2 months before I had a full bridle but I hadn't ordered it as a full bridle. I had the advantage of being able to take my time.
