Prescription charges?

Just curious how much you all pay for the vets to write prescriptions for your horses? And also how recently did you pay that amount?

I don't understand

My vet doesn't write me prescriptions, he just gives me horse medication that he needs.

Vets can write prescriptions, so you can buy the medications elsewhere, very often they are cheaper online which works out better if your horse is on long term medication.

The RCVS has put a top limit of £15 per px. However ours don't charge

I am going to be asking for a prescription in the future after finding out that I can buy a drug I was charged nearly £1000 for a month supply for only £200 on line!!!
Some vets are reluctant to issue a prescription but they legally cannot refuse!

Ours charge £10 for a prescription so you can buy online/elsewhere.

£7.50 to sign off the script, but they also fax it to the supplier for me too.
