My friend is working towards her BHS Intermediate (if it's still called that?). I need to think of a present for her birthday. I've bought her gloves and a smart gilet for the past couple of present occasions. Is there anything else you can think of that would be useful for all the riding/coaching/exam practices she is doing? TIA

Have a look out for seminars / demo’s and get tickets?

Eg BD convention, I’m not sure if Ingrid or Chris bartle or the like are doing anything, but that kind of thing

Thanks, good suggestions but she has access to a big educational library and I would struggle to get things coordinated for an event (I live at the other end of the country). An item would be easier.

I don't think you need to wear a stock for exams - it would be more polo shirt type attire. She has got very long hair though, I wonder if there is anything new in the hairnet/scrunchie line?

Make her a little bag of goodies, a notebook, pens, clip board, little plastic folder for bits and bobs and even a reusable coffee/tea travel mug to take with her on her training and coaching.

I bought a load of these socks for myself for Christmas. They are FABULOUS if you’re on your feet all day, really supportive round the arch, and warm under boots.

They are really good quality, I also play a lot of hockey, and swear by their hockey socks too.
