hi everyone.

just wondering if anyone has any information on this yard? I've seen a couple of their horses advertised but I'm presuming they are dealers and I would usually buy from dealers. so looking for peoples opinions? please pm if you'd rather

There was posts a while ago about them drugging horses for vettings. Not sure how true it was! Friend of mine bought a mare from her and has unfortunately had nothing but trouble. Definitely wasn't the horse she tried!!

I think Bartlow is run by Holly who has been shown to drug her horses in the past.

Kate Thurston is the piece of horse muck involved in the bucking video scandal - now changed from Imperial Horses LTD to Dun Dealers.

I bought a youngster off Holly almost 2 years ago and she is now competing at 110 Eventing and her temperament is the sweetest. I have had numerous overs to sell her, one from a professional show jumper jumping 1.30s, another from a PSG dressage rider and another from a BEu18 coach for her daughter. My personal experience with Holly is that she is a business woman and doesn’t have time to mess you around if she thinks the horse is right she will want to get a vetting sorted and get the horse sold. I haven’t suffered one bit from my experience with her though and she definitely didn’t sell me a duff horse.

This is another old thread, in 4 years+ things might have changed.

Just wondering why you are bumping old threads? This is the 2nd in a few mins.

I bought my horse a long time before I even saw this feed and had I seen this feed before I perhaps wouldn’t have bought her. Maybe ppl should stop bad mouthing ppl on the internet based off what their “friends” have said without any hardcore evidence. 4 years ago or not this feed actually could be detrimental to somebody’s livelihood so good luck defending yourselves in court if holly ever sees this.

it’s nothing personal to you or anyone on here I’m just saying to be cautious and make sure you’re prepared to face the consequences of throwing accusations around online about someone’s business without any concrete evidence.

Since TFF hasn't said anything remotely accusatory about any businesses, I can't think why you feel the need to post such nonsense at her.

If HG has an issue with this thread (and she might, if the accusations are false), she should raise it with the forum Admin, and have the post removed or redacted as they see fit.

"Friends" bumping threads like this does no good for anyone - this thread was in the bowels of the forum, unlikely to be seen unless by someone googling specifically. Now, however, it's all over the Recent Posts section, and will be seen by many users. Not your finest move!
 
very odd that a new poster is resurrecting old threads to do with a dealer....perhaps this dealer is needing more business and has asked her friends to go on forums to promote her. i know first hand about this dealer and will not say anything but if anyone wants to pm me i can give details...
