Prestige Gold Star Saddle...help!

Hi there,

Had the physio out to my horse yesterday (before the saddler has come out) and she has said that I will need a different saddle on her as she is quite tense along her back. She has (nearly) finished growing now so debating what to do! I'm going to just walk her out in hand and lunge until the saddler can come out as I don't want to cause her any discomfort (a weeks time)!

Just wondering what is best....get the saddle re-adjusted by Prestige or sell it and use the money to buy a new saddle. Thing is I have no idea how much I would get for it...I bought it new about 4 years ago and kept it in good condition...saddle cover is always on it etc...it's a black 17.5 M. Any ideas how much I would get for it would be much appreciated with choc chip cookies

Also does anyone know how much it is to have the Prestige saddle adjusted and if it is very good?

PS I will need to buy another close contact jumping saddle that is decent but doesn't cost the earth!

This maybe good to use as a guidline.. They did try and sell for £500 but they have relisted the saddle:

Otherwise perhaps you could try and do a trade with Saddles Direct?

I got £500 on eBay for mine which is more than SD would have paid me at the time

Thanks...I don't want to end up getting ripped off by a saddlers if they do a part-ex! Will keep an eye out at prices on ebay
