Prestige saddles...please help!!

Hi,

I'm currently in the expensive process of buying a new saddle! I'm currently trying a 17" paris K and a 18" new Prestige passion, it's looking like the 18" is going to be the one to buy. However before I dive into buying it, is there anywhere else to find second hand prestige saddles? :confused:

I've trawled through the internet, eBay, saddles direct, preloved etc etc and nothing, are prestige saddles just not being sold on that much? I'd rather save myself some money and buy second hand but at the moment the only option is this lush new one which I have fallen in love with :rolleyes:.

Thanks...my credit card will love you now! Have you ever had yours altered? The one I'm trying is 32 w but they will adjust to 33 for me and I'm just wondering about the affect on the tree. I already have one prestige that doesn't fit her and I now need to sell and one pessoa that is now too narrow for her! I need to sell them sharpish!
 
Love my Prestige dressage saddle and had fab service from Zoe Taylor who was recommended to me from another Forum. She's based in Essex but may be worth trying to contact her as I know she travels around. She also sometimes has demo saddles for sale

yes had both my meredith D and my optimax changed to fit different horses x
 
My old jumping saddle (Paris D) went back to Italy, it might have been Zoe who came out to look at it, and they took at least four months to widen the tree and change the panels. It might hav ebeen six months, was a long time ago. I prefer a saddle that can be altered at least in the UK if not onsite.

The one I need to sell is a golden star...I loved that saddle but now I've grown my leg doesn't have quite enough room :(

Thanks for all your replies and advice. I was told that the width alteration would be done in the UK by a rep. I'm looking for a brown saddle unfortunately, being fussy and all! I'm going to try and take my time to decide! Although I know I will defo get a Prestige saddle as I love them and don't seem to like much else!
