ive got a golden star which is a junior saddle, black with orange piping and I LOVE IT! its light to carry, its comfortable to ride in all day, the blocks are in just the right place so my leg sits correctly and comfortably! we paid about 800 new! but it was well worth it. the only thing i would say is that if they dont fit after a while they cant just be re-stuffed as they are made of foam panels! but that problems is easily solved with a prolite pad!
I rode in one of the Event model when I tried a horse out recently and really liked it. They vary from the £800 mark to the £1500+ mark but I liked the quality and also was quite adjustable as had movable blocks....
I have a Paris D Jumping saddle. It's light weight and really comfortable. I bought it because I do pure Show jumping now and needed a close contact for my girl, the flat seat stops me from getting a bash up the bum if she jumps awkwardly (sp). More importantly it has a moldeable tree so it should last me! The only draw back is that it is calf skin so wears badly so I am going to get a second hand/cheaper saddle for daily use. My saddle cost £1250.00 .x
I have a Paris K in Tabacco (single flap). Absolutely love it. Feel totally secure in it and can ride really short in it. Horse goes well in it. Quality is very good and easy to look after. I bought mine 2nd hand off Doff the Derby for £750. I think it will last me for a long time and fit a wide variety of horses. I love the cut back head fits my high withered TB really well.
