need to sell a shires stable rug....it is in really good condition apart from part of the tail flap has become unstitched (not ripped).

I have just had it washed which cost £11

i put it on ebay for 15 and no takers

It might just be that a lot of ponio's are out 24/7 at the mo & no one needs a stable rug???

Personally I would put it back on around Sept time when it starts going colder again (if gets warm in the first place!!!).

that was my reasoning to be honest but i want it gone now really

as it is just cluttering everywhere up

No one will be buying yet I would wait til September. I have a load of excellnt quality ones that my youngster out grew but there is no point advertising just yet

I have just listed a turnout, wrong time I know but thought I'd give it a whirl. I had a look at completed listings and stable and turnout rugs do sell, how about starting the bidding lower as people like to bid from say couple of quid UPWARDS depending on rug but if you set a higher start price it puts people off. EVEN if they eventually bid up to that they like to start low....

Worth a shot...

well its strange as i sold a stable rug in summer last year (worse quality than this one) and it had a tear and went for more than i thought!

I might just relist as i think you can add reserves now (they used to only let you if it was over £50 or something like that i think)
