hi, i am think of looking for some full liveries?? i could offer stable, individual turnout, hay and straw, hard feed, ridden as much as you want, on the flat and hacking. good hacking if you want to ride. I could also get hunting fit? the yard has a school with jumps. what sort of money would i charge??
warminster wiltshire??
cheers

Our yard charges £300 per month for stable, mucking out, turnout and bring in, hard feed, ad-lib hay or haylage. If you want your horse schooled it goes up to £90 per week. Based on east coast of Scotland though.

Our yard charges £65 per week for 14.3 and under, and £75 per week for 15hh and above.

They muck out 5 mornings per week and skip out 5 nights per week aswell as hay, feed, turn out, bring in and change rugs 7 days per week. There is an outdoor school (though the riding school gets priority - they use it between 9 - 1.30pm just at weekends), jumps for use in the school, a field with show jumps in for use when the ground is dry, lots of grazing, excellent hacking and secure tack storage. Theres also a horse walker been put in soon and you can keep your lorry/trailer there free of charge

Our yard charges £70 per week for muck out & turn out, putting in feed, hay etc. But you have to buy feed, hay, shaving etc on top of that. Use of school & walker free, YO does not do any form of exercising so that would be arranged seperately. Other yards locally charge £100 per week to include feed but not exercise/schooling. This is quite common round Cambridgeshire as far as i can tell. Lorry/trailer storage is another £5 a week. If you are going to provide feed etc I think £100 per week is fair with exercise & schooling on a per hour basis depending on your experience/qualifications in the range of £10 to £20 an hour. Hope this helps.

cheers, i was thinking about £100 per week. i am a freelance groom chargeing £10-15 an hr anyway, so suppose i would just add that on weekly??
does anyone have their horse on hunter livery?? just because i ride a lot of hunters and pointers? easier to get the word around??
thanks

I'm currently paying £150 a week for full livery including exercising 5 days a week (and that's schooling exercise not just meandering about). Without exercise it would be £100 per week but unfortunately i've got a busy 2 months at work so no chance to ride.
Around me it's between £85 per week and £100 per week i'd say - some charge extra for more than one bale of shavings a week and non-standard food etc.
