Anyone have a rough estimate of what it would cost to get a horse's hocks x-rayed, to see if spavins have fused?

based on what a friend said cost wise for their horse having xrays and hock injections compared to the cost for just injections thereafter I calculate the hock xrays cost her £250 :) I could be wrong though.

Glad you have asked this sorry I am of no help but am interested to know as I am still waiting for my bill from when my horse had his x-rays back in may!
 
My bill in July was for full lameness work up, but the x-ray part was:

X ray set up £115
8x plates £130

both inc VAT

There is also 20ml Intra-epicaine, would that have been sedative? That was £17

My horse had foot xrays a couple of months ago and it was £125 to plug the machine in and then approx £16 per 'plate' - actually not even a plate as its all digital anyway. That was not including any visit fee. Another expensive rip off from my vet - they get a bit 'snap happy'.
