Price of Danilon

Can I ask what people pay for a box of 60 Danolon sachets from their vet? I pay £88.18. I've seen it from an online pharmacy for less than £40. My horse is on long term use at 2 per day for arthritis. I wonder about asking for a prescription and then getting it online. Does anyone actually do this. The problem is, I would have to pay for the prescription, plus they may insist on coming out every time to see him instead of just dishing it out as they do now. This could end up costing more.

I was paying about £45 (posted to me) for a box from my vets about 2yrs ago, don't think they've changed their price much since either.

My vets charge me less than £60 so I think yours are being a bit excessive.

I usually get a prescription for £7 or £9 from vet and buy on line, it does work out cheaper than buying from my vet.

I've just been brave & asked for a prescription. The cost is £17 ish, but even if it only lasts for 1 month that is much cheaper.
Receptionist seemed a bit off though!
