Hello, I know these things can get really tedious etc but i'd really appreciate some input here please. If you came across this, what would you expect the price to be (or what you'd part with for him)

V full up 16.1 reg ISH with excellent breeding, relatives and siblings excelling in sj and eventing.
Just turned 7 year old, fairly low milage through work commitments
Stunning to look at, bright bay with 4 white socks and stripe, faultless conf, no lumps or bumps.
Goes beautifully on the flat, well schooled and scoring well in prelim and novice tests. Huge scopey jump, pops 1.40 at home, serious engine. Has hunted proving brave and reliable.
Recently regd bsja and jumping dc's bn no problem, will move up fast.
Excellent hack, catch, farrier, load, bath and groom etc.
Faultless temp, not a nasty bone in him, very sweet and straightforward.

Dont know the horse personally so any thoughts at all welcome.

If he truly has faultless conformation and jumps as well as you say, with such a good temperament, then he should be fetching £25k as the next HOYS working hunter winner!

(Tongue in cheek) LOL! No photos, and granted nothing has faultless conf so taking that with a pinch of salt. Hasnt done too much, although if its unseen/unshowed, not sure if thats an advantage or not. Sounds like it has potential though.

pardon? the word "potential" isnt in the ad? that was just my thoughts, its not my horse!

Nothing personal, or aimed at this horse, just been spending too much time looking at the thousands of 'potential' world beaters on horsemart. With 3 legs.

Can I ask what people mean by "very full up 16.1hh"?? I never understand that, either he's 16.1hh or he ain't?!

TBH I wouldn't pay more than £4k for a horse jumping BN but I seem to be way out of touch with your Southern prices!

It means up to height, that it is a 16.1hh. You can get a 16.1hh that has high withers with a low back and short, and it may look like a 15.2hh. But the full up 16.1hh will be a big horse with good back etc and it will look big and full. I have a full up 16.3hh and she is a big warmblood, but my friend has just bought a 16.3hh who is a much smaller frame and so looks about 16hh, but her withers measure 16.1hh. I hope this has shed some light on it for you.
