Box - 7.5 tonner..... i know the floor is fine but every winter i always go into panic mode and after reading the horrors on the other thread to do with horse box floors - thought i would like to see what the price would be for upgrading the existing floor.
OH does this for a living, he thinks ballpark figure without looking about a grand for the whole floor, but say if it has living and a seperate back bit for the horses and it was just that part about 600.
Thank you for that- yes we do have seperate horse and living - and i dont give a monkey about the living...but when it comes to my horses.... well enough said
Goldenstar.... think that is what i want to do.... a double alloy floor - i dont even care if that goes over the top of what is already there - could you pm me where yours was done - and did it take long.
Mine may already be alumini - but i do not know - and i am in no fit state to find out
It was done by KP horse boxes near Sunderland the price was inclusive of rebuilding the top of the tack lockers to provide a sleep slide of top for the cob who enjoyed standing on them so cant break it down I think it was away four days but not sure how much time it actually took.
You need to get some one to get a mat up for a good look , and make sure they put enough holes right through to get the pee washing out water away put not over anything it's going to pour onto and ruin.
