Some of you may have already seen/heard via fb but we had some GREAT news about sponsorship for our lessons in the run up to Badminton this Spring. We're not in yet but we are trying!

As I am so ill I am less use than a wet dishcloth on a horse I didn't attempt to film myself doing anything clever on horseback this week, instead I dug out some old footage a friend sent recently: my namesake, Tigers Eye, and myself age 9 being rather gung ho round a sj course circa 1992, the pony lines which I think my mum had heart failure at when we first went to a Belgian PC competition, surpridingly few accidents though! William's grandmother, Kendal Caprice, all 15hh of her, being also rather gung-ho round a course at Tongeren (yes, still competing there these days!) also 1992, and myself on Beauty, a mostly-arab lovely mare who I eventually did a season of FEI on, being er gung-ho again, see what I'm fighting here people?! The link below will take you to the video.

News & Photos, and the Supporters pages have also been suitabley updated ;): http://www.madsen-equestrian.com/

Super update - love the old footage :D

Hope you feel better soon - you sound like death warmed up (one of my mother's saying's) :p

Good luck for friday's jumping.

P.S. Looks like William's getting the hang of this acting malarky

I did see on FB but congrats :) Very exciting!

You do some v poorly though so wrap up warm and get well for jumping on fri :D

I saw the fb page last night great news!!!!! keeping everything crossed you get in and have a smooth run up leading up to it too! keep us posted on whats happening! :D

Many thanks all, indeed, Tiger was a gem, we bought him out of H&H, he was advertised as a wise old gentleman!

The news is indeed exciting, now I just need to hunt down my trainers neither of whom are the best at answering their phones!

Great news and another good vid, both the flashbacks and another comedy performance from your cohost. You do sound seriously grim though!

Excellent news from Supastuds - really useful support - good for them! I loved the old vids, ponies always make me smile, but I think William is bored with being a movie star so I hope you soon feel well enough to take him out and about again :).

He was ISZ! He was already rather elderly when we got him, and he had a very cautious approach to the seasons, taking an "if-in-doubt-grow-more" approach with his coat!

William is looking a bit bored with the whole thing now isn't he? Did you notice how annoyed he got when I ruffled his hair?
