Hi does anyone have a rough idea of the above? I'm still waiting for an MRI of my horse's hoof to provide a diagnosis, but am interested to know what it would cost / how long the wait is.
Thanks in advance!

I don't know how long the wait is at the moment, you would need to speak to Nic about that, but I looked into my horse going to Rockley in December 2012 and took him in march 2013, however, that gave me chance to sort his diet out and he had only just been shod when I enquired, so also gave me time to let his feet grow and get his shoes off, with 5 weeks barefoot before he went.
It cost me £150 per week plus extra for more feed as he needed building up.

How is your horse now busybusybusy?
When Paddy went to Rockley he had no topline at all & despite Nic feeding him loads he still did not put on weight, so we decided to get vet out to scope him for ulcers - she took one look and said "it's not ulcers, it's his back", got X-rays done and hey presto 7 fused vertebra...Nic managed to work him by leading him off another horse & when he came back home he went in for surgery and had 4 processes removed - he's now 10 weeks post op and is looking much better - putting on weight & muscle and his feet have changed beyond recognition - plus I trotted him up properly for the first time this week and he's completely sound on hard ground :) obviously its early days as I have not been able to do as much mileage as I would have liked to because of his back, but I have been walking him in hand ALOT.. and that seems to be having the desired effect as the new hoof growth since he came home from Rockley is even better connected, so things are going ok so far....a bit of a roller coaster ride though!!!
