hi there...

im thinking about going over to the goresbridge sale next week to pick up a project..... 3/4years - maybe a bit older...... just a nice youngster to play with over the winter......
how are the prices over there? whats the average price for a bog standard youngster?? how much money should i be taking?????
im only tempted to go as ill be in ireland anyway!!

Bottom end of the market is very very low currently. Lots going for well under €4000 (as in lots for €1200-1800 currently). Top end holding quite well and is about €6-25k for something very smart

You may just need whatever is in your back pocket, there not doing very well in the ring! If its a tb my friend had his selling good stock and they were'nt even sold in the ring, was after. I've picked up a couple of 'projects' without even looking and people are nearly giving them away (my experience) halfbreds and tbs at the mo. Both the youngsters i have at the minute doing well in working hunter, v straighforward were picked up for less than £2000. Infact i've never paid more than £1600!!
