Hi. Usually we make our meadow hay into small bales, but last year we had to do it into large square hestons. We've finally got to the end of our leftover 2020 small bales and I need to start charging for the big bales. I'd love to have idea of what would be a fair price for this. What is everyone paying? Thankyou :)

South East we're paying £40 for large square bales and £35 for haylage. Last year it was at least £10 more per bale but I think there's a lot of grass this year - point in case, I only just bought in my first haylage order and am considering opening spring grazing soon just because I can!

I'm getting mine for £35 in the south east but that's because its a slightly coarser hay that no one else wanted! Ideal for my fatties and tested out <10% NSC. £40-£45 otherwise (plus I bulk buy)
