Prices for farriers in West Berkshire

My farrier has just gone VAT registered and so a basic set of shoes now costs £63.80. I'm interested to know what other people pay in the same area.

About the norm, possibly slightly on the cheap side for this area

Daughters little pony is £65 a set just east of Reading

I pay £60 a set, £40 for fronts, £20 for trims, just west of Reading

I'm near Hungerford. The farrier who does most of the yard charges £50 a set. I have a different farrier who charges £70 but is worth every penny to me as he keeps my big lad sound.

I pay £72 a set, but I think you get what you pay for to a certain extent and I am really happy with my current farrier, Stud holes are extra.
