So I'm going to be loaning a 16.2hh horse, Murphy. The loan includes me doing all stable chores and getting 3hrs of riding every week, but I can go and see him whenever I want. I get a free lesson each week anyway with a choice of 15 horses. Murphy is a pretty sane horse, throws in a few bucks and will challenge you if he gets a chance to, also naps quite a bit but tell him off and he'll be a dream for the rest of the lesson. But, I like that! He has no vices or anything, he jumps 1.10m with ease, in stable he is very gentle, never nipped. He is 18yrs old.
It's going to be £40 per week, and I won't be paying for shoes or feed. Does that sound reasonable? I've had lessons that are £34 before so it appears to be okay to me, but I want your opinion! x
