Long time since ive been on here but in need of some advice - any idea what a Butet 17" dressage saddle would sell for these days?? Its in very good condition, a few normal marks/scuffs. Most definitely not advertising, just after a bit of advice, none seem to be coming up on eBay/saddlesdirect etc to get a guide

Thanks xx

No idea regarding butets, is there nothing on eBay?
The Market for second hand saddles isn't great at the moment though. If you e mail saddles direct they should tell you how much they would sell your saddle for and how much you should get privately.
They did that for a saddle of mine I just sold. I sold a jump saddle on eBay it sold straight away to a buyer in America they paid half the price of what I paid for it 2 years ago :(.

Thankfully I bought it second hand myself - in need of a new jump saddle for my youngster and this is sat gathering dust! I'll drop a line to saddlesdirect and see what they come back with - thank you :)

They usually sell well on ebay - I was looking for an 18" for a long time and had 'butet dressage saddle' as a saved search. Check how old it is (date should be stamped somewhere on underside) but you should get £1200 or so if it's reasonable.

If you have a look at www.sederholmselected.co.uk they've usually got 2nd hand ones for price comparison, if not give them a ring.
